Saint asked: Why do parents want their child to follow the same goal as they did, while not accepting and supporting their childs own goals of what they really want out of life.
Like let’s say if a child want’s to do something else like go to a community college where they can transfer and go to a major college that they want to go to. But, somwone like let’s say their mother don’t want them to go to that school and instead, wants them to go to a trade school and get a degree from there, especially when the mother had been to that type of school and done that at that type of school.
What i’n really saying is that some parents don’t want their child to do something different that really makes them happy and what they really want out of life and not supporting them for it. But, instead wants them to do something what the parent has set for them or want them to do which their child is not really interested in doing and what doesn’t makes them happy.
Why, are parents are like that?

Kayla <3 asked: So we have to do this THINK BIG poster for school based on the message Dr. Ben Carson is trying to get across (my L.A teacher LOVES him). so this is what I have so far and the explaination.
T- technique. If you have goo technique in the dance-world, you can really succeed.
H- help. When someone needs your help, don’t ignore it. You can always help them with different suggestions coming from others.
I- inspiration. Always keep an inspiration in mind. Don’t get too hot-headed and think you don’t need it.
N- nutrition. Keep a balanced diet at all times. Being the skinniest isn’t always the best thing.
K- kid. Don’t try to grow up too quickly. Goof-off, bend the rules, just don’t do it too too often.
B- believe. Always try to do your best and believe you can do anything you set your mind to.
I- intellect. Keep school work as a top priority. Also try your hardest to be successful in school too.
G- goals. Set goals for yourself and live up to them.
IS THERE ANYTHING I NEED TO FIX?

maysoon2554 asked:
My son was in middle school and could not adapt to his surroundings. I became frustrated with repeated calls from school and their unwillingness to work with him after several IEP’s. I would like to know of any school system particularly in the Eastern U.S. that provides good special education in a classroom setting, etc. and really works with the child to help them attain their fullest possible potential. I am willing to relocate to help my son achieve his goals. Also, I am a single mother and cannot afford any private school setting. It would have to be a public school or program that works with the individual financially. Thanks so much for any suggestions!
